Who Has Hope?

As more and more young families struggle to afford houses and young Australians find permanent jobs are rare, hope about the future is becoming a thing of the past.

When Jesus said the “Kingdom of God” has come near when he was on earth we struggle to believe that things will get any better in the here and now. Jesus was describing the fact that as people encountered Him, they encountered a glimpse of heaven. Jesus healed the sick, drove away evil and gave hope.

Today as people encounter Jesus in us, they are catching glimpses of heaven. We share hope. Hope of life eternal. Hope that we have meaning and purpose. Hope that Jesus is working His plan out in our lives and that our struggles will work out for our ultimate benefit under God.
