Jesus is Central to our Lives
Yesterday a service of thanksgiving was held for Jean Smith who was a long time member of our parish, particularly contributing greatly at our former Wongawilli church. She was taught from a young age to remember her Creator in the days of her youth, before the days of trouble come. She lived her life remembering her God. On Friday Pat Hain went to be with God. She too contributed over many years to our parish, particularly caring for the St Luke’s building.
As I reflect on individuals such as Jean and Pat I feel inspired to ensure that Jesus is central to my life. A life well lived is a life lived with Jesus central. Remembering his love and sacrifice for me builds the foundation for me being more loving and sacrificial. Jesus showed me grace and mercy therefore I should approach others in the same way.

Thanks to Anglicare for their partnership. We have the regular family support workers in our offices, the weekly opportunities to minister at St Luke’s village and now some very helpful furniture for our café and offices.
