Join us for the Empty Nesters Soup Night, a delightful evening of warmth and fellowship, held on Saturday, 14th June, in the Foyer of the Ministry Centre (on Moombara Street). The event will run from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM. For just $15 per person, you can indulge in a comforting menu featuring mulled apple juice, a cheese and dip platter, a variety of soups with bread rolls, and a delicious apple crumble served with custard or ice cream. Holiday Club

Join us for three exciting days at Connect Kids Holiday Club—an action-packed program designed to help children grow in faith, friendship, and fun! Holiday Club is on from Wednesday, the 9th, to Friday, the 11th of July. Check-in will open at 8:45am (official program starting at 9am), and pick-up is at 3pm. Morning and afternoon tea are included in the cost; we ask that you please bring your own lunch. 

Each day begins with an all-in session where kids will come together to worship through song, hear from God’s Word, and pray together.

Children will then participate in a workshop of their choice (please refer to workshop descriptions for age guidelines), which they will attend across all three days. Workshops are led by trusted and passionate church members who hold current Safe Ministry and Working with Children checks.

To celebrate the week, families are invited to our Family Showcase Evening on Friday, July 11, from 6–8pm, where children will share what they’ve learned and created throughout the program.

DAC Women’s Weekend, featuring guest speaker Avril Lonsdale, will take place from Friday 30th May to Sunday 1st June at the Kiah Ridge Christian Conference Centre. The cost for the weekend is $240, with an option to attend just Saturday for $100. This event promises a weekend of fellowship, teaching, and reflection, providing a unique opportunity for women in the church community to connect and deepen their faith. We’re eager to gather, dig into God’s word, challenge one another to see growth and change in our churches, and pray together for Australia.

Andrew Heard will open the Bible, exploring the implications of living under the cross. Plenaries will strengthen your convictions, confidence, and competence in both local and global mission.

There will also be lots of opportunities to learn from churches across the network through case studies, panels, workshops, networking lunches, and shared meals.

The office will be closed for the week. The 2pm service will run as usual!

This month CONNECT MEN will be heading up to Mount Keira Lookout to admire the mountains, the sea and the views of the coast that God has given us.

Connect Men: Card Games

March is upon us, so what are we Men going to do? On our customary last Saturday of the month there is a big event in Wollongong called Hope For The Illawarra. I'm sure many of you will already have plans to attend with family, friends or other DAC groups, so Connect Men will meet a week earlier at the church centre on Saturday the 22nd of March at 7pm. 

It will be an evening of Classic Card Games, like Euchre, 500, Canasta, Rummy, Snap (just kidding).

There will also be a paper aeroplane competition, so bring your best designs.

Bring some snacks/drinks to share at your games table.

Prayer Paddle Out (HFTI)

We’re inviting you to be part of a powerful and peaceful gathering at the stunning Wollongong Harbour on Saturday, 8th March, starting from 9am. Everyone is welcome to join together as we pray for Jesus to reach the Illawarra! Pray from the shore or bring a board and pray in the water.

Safety: Christian Surfers will be patrolling for water safety. If you are paddling, please arrive early to register with a sign up form.

This is a Combined Churches event to prepare for ‘Hope For The Illawarra’ at the end of March.
