Hope Youth Event
Calling all YOUTH (in school years 6 to 12 or equivalent). Join us for an inspiring evening with Dave Jensen on Friday, 28 March, at 7pm. The event will kick off with pre-event live music starting at 5:15pm, with doors opening at 5pm. Dave Jensen, a former Australian Army member for nearly a decade, will share his transformative journey to Christianity and deliver a powerful message of hope from the Bible, highlighting the unique hope that only Jesus can bring. The evening will also feature uplifting music from the renowned Aussie band Whitefield. Don't miss out on this opportunity!

Hope Kids Event
Come and hear about the hope that will never let you down! This family-friendly event on Saturday morning includes games, music from guest musician Colin Buchanan, and a Bible talk from Adam Jolliffe. We will be starting at 9:30am with pre-event games and activities.
All ages are welcome, but children must be accompanied by a trusted adult.

Hope for the Illawarra
Join us to explore real and lasting HOPE. An evening program including uplifting music by renowned Aussie band, Whitefield and a powerful message from the Bible about the certain and everlasting hope that only Jesus offers. Our speaker, Dr Michael Youssef is the founder and president of Leading The Way, a global ministry broadcasting Biblical teaching in 28 languages. AUSLAN tickets are available.

Rev. Mark Boyley Commissioning

Family Adventure Day
Join us for a thrilling Family Adventure Day at Symbio on Thursday, April 24th. We will gather at the entrance of Symbio in Helensburgh at 9:30 am. Women's Weekend
DAC Women’s Weekend, featuring guest speaker Avril Lonsdale, will take place from Friday 30th May to Sunday 1st June at the Kiah Ridge Christian Conference Centre. The cost for the weekend is $240, with an option to attend just Saturday for $100. This event promises a weekend of fellowship, teaching, and reflection, providing a unique opportunity for women in the church community to connect and deepen their faith. Early registration is encouraged, as spaces are limited, and we look forward to sharing this enriching experience together.

Connect Men: Card Games
March is upon us, so what are we Men going to do? On our customary last Saturday of the month there is a big event in Wollongong called Hope For The Illawarra. I'm sure many of you will already have plans to attend with family, friends or other DAC groups, so Connect Men will meet a week earlier at the church centre on Saturday the 22nd of March at 7pm.
It will be an evening of Classic Card Games, like Euchre, 500, Canasta, Rummy, Snap (just kidding).
There will also be a paper aeroplane competition, so bring your best designs.
Bring some snacks/drinks to share at your games table.

Ian and Rhonda Farewell
Join us on Sunday, the 9th of March, as we bid farewell to our beloved acting rector, Ian, and his wife, Rhonda. To honour their time with us, we will host a special morning tea and supper following each service. Ian has been a tremendous blessing to our church family, and while we will miss him dearly, we send our heartfelt prayers as they embark on their next chapter. Empty Nesters Afternoon Tea and Yard Games
Our next Empty Nesters event is next Saturday, March 8, and we are excited to invite you to join us for a delightful afternoon at Integral Energy Park (88 Darkes Rd, Stream Hill). It will be a fun-filled day featuring yard games and afternoon tea, where you can relax and enjoy great company. Please remember to bring your own chair and mug, along with some delicious afternoon tea to share with fellow attendees. While you focus on enjoying the afternoon, we will provide tea and coffee to keep everyone refreshed.

Prayer Paddle Out (HFTI)
We’re inviting you to be part of a powerful and peaceful gathering at the stunning Wollongong Harbour on Saturday, 8th March, starting from 9am. Everyone is welcome to join together as we pray for Jesus to reach the Illawarra! Pray from the shore or bring a board and pray in the water.
Safety: Christian Surfers will be patrolling for water safety. If you are paddling, please arrive early to register with a sign up form.
This is a Combined Churches event to prepare for ‘Hope For The Illawarra’ at the end of March.

World Day of Prayer
The theme ‘I made you wonderful’ was chosen by the Cook Island World Day of Prayer Committee, inspired by Psalm 139:14 which says “I thank you for I am fearfully and wonderfully made”. An important theme as women and children within Cook Island are oppressed and suppressed within community. This passage is a reminder of God’s goodness.
Please join us for this World Day of Prayer, on Friday the 7th of March. This year we will be heading to Dapto Baptist Church. Everyone is welcome to attend. We will gather at 10am for morning tea, with the service starting at 11am.

Some of our Youth and Youth Leaders are headed to LiT Summer 2024. LiT Summer has two weeks to choose from. Week 1 is the 22nd - 26th of January. Week 2 is the 26th - 30th of January.

Christmas Service
Celebrate Christmas Day with us at the Ministry Centre for a joyful Family Christmas Service at 9:30 AM! This lively and welcoming service is perfect for all ages, featuring uplifting songs, engaging scripture readings, and a message that celebrates the hope and joy of Christ’s birth. Christmas Day Service
Join us on Christmas morning at 8:00 AM at the Ministry Centre for a traditional prayer book service as we come together to celebrate the birth of Christ. This service will offer a reflective and worshipful start to Christmas Day, filled with timeless scripture readings, hymns, and prayers. Midnight Service
Celebrate the wonder of Christmas with us at St. Luke's Brownsville for a reverent Midnight Service. Beginning on Christmas Eve and ending as Christmas morning dawns, this traditional prayer book service will lead us in worship and reflection as we welcome the birth of our Savior. Join us for a time of meaningful scripture, hymns, and prayer, centered around the true spirit of Christmas. The service will start at 11:00 PM, providing a serene and sacred atmosphere to mark the arrival of Christmas Day. Come and experience the beauty of this holy night in fellowship and worship.

Christmas Eve Service
Join us this Christmas Eve, Tuesday, December 24th, at the Ministry Centre for a special family service celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ. Starting at 6:00 PM, the evening will be filled with meaningful songs, scripture readings, and a heartfelt message highlighting this joyous occasion's significance.
All ages are welcome, and we encourage families to come together to experience the warmth and joy of the Christmas spirit. Bring along your loved ones as we light candles and share in fellowship. We look forward to celebrating this beautiful night with you.
