Partnership with Tanzania

In the upcoming term, we are hosting an all-ages event in collaboration with St. Luke’s Preschool to support our sister school, Talanta Preschool in Tarime, Tanzania. The event is called the Amazing Race to Tanzania, and more details will be shared soon.

This week, let's take a moment to give thanks for how God has been at work in Talanta Preschool. Founded in 2024 with just 12 students, it now has an enrollment of 68 children. Praise God. In a region where preschool attendance is rare and the student-to-teacher ratio can reach 131:1, Talanta Preschool stands out for employing local staff and offering crucial early education, especially at an age which is so vital.

Additionally, we should give thanks to God for the opening of a new Christian secondary school for girls in the region. Together the preschool and the secondary school will help to improve education in that area, training up Christian leaders in this community as a gospel influence to their wider society.

Our partnership with St. Luke’s Preschool allows us to support education and the gospel mission in Tanzania. Please keep Talanta Preschool and the new Christian Secondary School for girls in your prayers.
