The Importance of Long Term Partnership
Over my time as a missionary overseas, I saw first-hand the value of long term mission partnership. I saw how God has worked through churches here in Australia together with Church Missionary Society (CMS) to support Phnom Penh Bible School (PPBS) to equip local Christian leaders to strengthen local churches right across Cambodia. God works through his church over many many years as the body of Christ, world-wide, partners together in many ways to see the gospel go out to all the nations. This year marks an important milestone of partnership in the gospel between the Anglican Church of Australia, CMS and the Anglican Church of Tanzania. We celebrate 130 years of partnership as we see God at work not only in Australia, but beyond in places like Tanzania. The link below provides a key snapshot into this partnership over the last century. Dapto Anglican, not only in our support of CMS but also now through Anglican Aid as we partner with Tarime preschool, continue to strengthen this partnership to see the gospel go out in Tanzania. As we move towards Christmas and the end of the year we celebrate God come amongst us in Jesus. One way we celebrate this reality, Christ the King come amongst us, is as we celebrate his work in his church through the partnerships that he has created, sustained and grown. Our partnership with Tarime preschool in Tanzania shows that we are one part of a long work of God that is a privilege and joy for us to participate in. It really is joy to the world.
